| Q: Can I choose the temperature activation point of the color changing tile? A: Yes you can choose the temperature that the color will start to change on the tile. There are variables to consider when designing. You can design with regards to average ambient temperature of the project space. This will accelerate or declerate the color changing process and can be intentionally used for both. Exterior temperatures due to differing climates and time of day can be a factor and relevant to design decisions. |

A: The tiles are made primarily from silica sand, an abundant natural resource, with many colors also containing recycled content that may include pre-consumer, post-industrial, and/or post-consumer recycled bottle glass from curbside recycling programs. Glass tileis a very strong building material that is impervious to water and freeze/thaw resistant. This long-lasting durability further adds to its sustainability. |
